In the 6thth minute of the game Marcu Martin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but gcg's Isac Crainic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Martin in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Crainic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iordache Negara's late challenge caught a United Ajax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Negara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of United Ajax booed when gcg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Negara didn't get a good kick on the ball. United Ajax's Marcu Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isac Crainic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Martin in the 24th minute of the match. Eduard Roşculeţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Isac Crainic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcu Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Aursulesei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Isac Crainic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcu Martin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Crainic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcu Martin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Crainic was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. United Ajax's attentive Radu Horea managed to snatch the ball when Vasile Obregia made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. The gcg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. United Ajax were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Iliescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ionel Neicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Iliescu in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ivan Aursulesei fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marcu Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isac Crainic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, gcg's Iordache Negara got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Damian Duldurescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dinu Burtea charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Burtea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Dinu Burtea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Radu Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. United Ajax's attentive Radu Horea managed to snatch the ball when Vasile Obregia made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Isac Crainic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Martin's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Augustin Voina took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Neicu. Ionel Neicu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in gcg's zone, Ivan Aursulesei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Crainic came out of the goal and Ivan Aursulesei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, gcg's Iustinian Gușatu got a free kick in the 87th minute. Isac Crainic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Martin in the 88th minute of the match. Damian Duldurescu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Isac Crainic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United Ajax. If Radu Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. United Ajax were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
