Spectators: 6510 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toar Duve started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Vasile Barbonța shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Alucai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Beniuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Barbonța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Alucai having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Dacian Lupescu got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 16 minutes, Vasile Barbonța made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rimeti's Mircea Alucai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24thth minute of the game Vasile Barbonța who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rimeti's Mircea Alucai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güralp Zümer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toar Duve in the 26th minute of play. Rimeti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolae Ştefănoiu in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on Rimeti's corner Nicolae Ştefănoiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Güralp Zümer quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Vali Ghelmegean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rimeti's Mircea Alucai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Bogdan Caranfil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vasile Barbonța had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Francisc Prezan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Güralp Zümer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicolae Ştefănoiu. In the 42nd minute, Călin Popoacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Ghelmegean in the 43rd minute of play forced Rimeti's goalkeeper Mircea Alucai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Tariverde's zone, Toar Duve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güralp Zümer came out of the goal and Toar Duve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Vasile Barbonța shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Alucai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Barbonța received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mircea Alucai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasile Barbonța to make the kick off. Mircea Alucai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasile Barbonța's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Toar Duve made a precise shot to the right of Güralp Zümer. UFC Tariverde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Vasile Barbonța notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rimeti's Mircea Alucai. Mircea Alucai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Vali Ghelmegean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mircea Alucai. Rimeti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vali Ghelmegean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Mircea Alucai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Barbonța in the 70th minute of play. Petru Piţurcă kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Vali Ghelmegean fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Tariverde's protests and gave Vali Ghelmegean a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Adrian Beniuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Mircea Alucai managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when UFC Tariverde's Vasile Barbonța fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Toar Duve came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Rimeti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toar Duve couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Rimeti's goal looked a bit too open when André Alin came free, but Mircea Alucai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rimeti getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nicolae Ştefănoiu hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes UFC Tariverde got a freekick which was hit by André Alin. The Rimeti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UFC Tariverde's performance. The match ended with a win for UFC Tariverde.
