In the 6th minute George Cârneci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Bouleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandru Isaicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Bouleanu having to interfere. The Tym Tym fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Tym Tym's Alexandru Isaicu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the game, George Cârneci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florin Bouleanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Cârneci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Florin Bouleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, George Cârneci made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. LEGIO XIII GEMINA's Florin Bouleanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionică Nicolaescu's late challenge caught a Tym Tym's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionică Nicolaescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LEGIO XIII GEMINA's Ionică Nicolaescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Tym Tym's goalkeeper Iurie Bucur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Bran. 42 minutes into the match, LEGIO XIII GEMINA's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Puișoru came free, but Florin Bouleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Bran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Alexandru in the 45th minute of play forced Tym Tym's goalkeeper Iurie Bucur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Tym Tym were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Cârneci to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in LEGIO XIII GEMINA's zone, Alexandru Isaicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Bouleanu came out of the goal and Alexandru Isaicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tym Tym's Alexandru Isaicu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Gică Alexandru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iurie Bucur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bran in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LEGIO XIII GEMINA's Sebastian Cămărășescu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Florin Bouleanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Cârneci went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Martin Bran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihai Savu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Martin Bran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Bucur having to interfere. Tym Tym played a much better game than LEGIO XIII GEMINA and deserved their victory. The LEGIO XIII GEMINA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
