Ozana Bucuresti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Ozana Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Florei came free, but Nicu Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Oloieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Ştefănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toar Duve in the 23rd minute of play forced Ozana Bucuresti's goalkeeper Nicu Oloieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aurel Florei came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Rimeti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Florei couldn't finish the play. Ozana Bucuresti's Nicu Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Florei in the 35th minute of play. Rimeti's Toar Duve got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 minutes of play, Rimeti's Nicolae Ştefănoiu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Oloieru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurel Iordache to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ozana Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Toar Duve came free, but Nicu Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Oloieru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toar Duve in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toar Duve in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Oloieru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurel Florei scored 0-6 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Oloieru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Rimeti fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Rimeti's Aurel Florei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ozana Bucuresti's Cosmin Popean got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Toar Duve dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicu Oloieru, 0-8. A collision led to Ozana Bucuresti getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ilie Ghizdeanu hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Nicolae Ştefănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ozana Bucuresti's Nicu Oloieru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ozana Bucuresti from getting a goal against them. Aurel Florei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Nicu Oloieru made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Rimeti's Adrian Beniuc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Oloieru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. After a rather tough play, Ozana Bucuresti's Edgar Atanasiu got a free kick in the 96th minute.
