The crowd rose to their feet as Maxim Doman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicu Oloieru. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Mircea Voina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicu Oloieru came out and tried to block the shot, but Mircea Voina slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 19th minute. Maxim Miclauș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Iordache in the 22nd minute of the match. Nicu Oloieru made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Claudiu Dudea sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ozana Bucuresti's Nicu Oloieru got control of the ball when Petruț Cosariu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gigi Ghițescu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigi Ghițescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Maxim Doman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicu Oloieru. That made the score 5-0 after 29 minutes of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Maxim Doman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicu Oloieru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, Francisc Drăgănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Stănilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicu Oloieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Doman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Claudiu Dudea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Ozana Bucuresti's Nicu Oloieru got control of the ball when Petruț Cosariu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurel Iordache was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ozana Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Cosariu came free, but Nicu Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Filip Dincă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ilie Dindelegan in the 53 minute of the game. 54 minutes into the game, PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Petruț Cosariu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Oloieru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ilie Ghizdeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustinian Luca in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Oloieru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ozana Bucuresti getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edgar Atanasiu hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Mircea Voina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Oloieru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The supporters of Ozana Bucuresti booed when PHOENIX BUCURESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Dudea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Mircea Voina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Oloieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Iordache took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxim Miclauș. Maxim Miclauș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. There was no doubt that PHOENIX BUCURESTI were the better team. PHOENIX BUCURESTI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
