Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eugen Iliescu made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Voina in the 4th minute of play forced Rimeti's goalkeeper Mircea Alucai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mircea Alucai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Voina in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Beniuc in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Crainic saved gcg from getting behind. Iordache Negara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes gcg got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Voina. 33 minutes into the match, Rimeti's goalkeeper Mircea Alucai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Voina. After having played for 36 minutes, Toar Duve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rimeti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toar Duve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. gcg's Isac Crainic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Beniuc in the 39th minute of play. Nicolae Ştefănoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toar Duve to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Adrian Beniuc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Crainic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 61 minutes of play, gcg's Dinu Burtea made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mircea Alucai was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute Eugen Iliescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Alucai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Nicolae Ştefănoiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isac Crainic, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Beniuc got free with Isac Crainic in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Beniuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Isac Crainic made a huge save. Toar Duve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Isac Crainic made a huge save. Isac Crainic came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rimeti's Horaţiu Ilica. But to his dismay, Horaţiu Ilica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 86th minute Toar Duve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Crainic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rimeti's Adrian Beniuc got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Toar Duve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Crainic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Rimeti's Isac Crainic threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Toar Duve, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rimeti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
