When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Ştefulescu made a kick off. PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Maxim Doman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valeriu Perișoară, made in the 79th minute of the game. If Marin Itoafă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Tufescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Doman went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.
