Ivan Aursulesei struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mircea Alucai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United Ajax. In the 12th minute, Toar Duve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rimeti booed when United Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Aursulesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes United Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Damian Duldurescu. A sloppy throw-in by Teodor Schipor in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by United Ajax's Ivan Aursulesei. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcu Martin got free with Mircea Alucai in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Toar Duve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rimeti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toar Duve in the 27th minute of play forced United Ajax's goalkeeper Ionel Neicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Rimeti's Nicolae Ştefănoiu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Neicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ion Diculescu charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Diculescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ionel Neicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toar Duve in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, United Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Frântu to maneuver through the defense. Ionel Neicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toar Duve, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mircea Alucai made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Marcu Martin sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Toar Duve had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Neicu. United Ajax's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toar Duve was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Rimeti were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toar Duve to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Toar Duve notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of United Ajax's Ionel Neicu. Ionel Neicu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eric Dumitrachescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Alucai having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Dorel Romoşan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rimeti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave United Ajax the free kick. The supporters of United Ajax booed when Rimeti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Romoşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Rimeti's Aurel Florei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Neicu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some careless play in the United Ajax defense, Nicolae Ştefănoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionel Neicu. The United Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionel Neicu should have stopped the shot. If Marcu Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Beniuc scored 0-9 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionel Neicu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Duldurescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Damian Duldurescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Beniuc got free with Ionel Neicu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcu Martin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mircea Alucai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United Ajax. Mircea Alucai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Beniuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ionel Neicu made a huge save. Rimeti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
