Cazimir Chirilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Chioreanu in the 11th minute of play. Eduard Iriza kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, EMF Academia's goalkeeper Dumitru Cîrțu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viorel Costache. EMF Academia's Dumitru Cîrțu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save EMF Academia from getting a goal against them. Aristide Gherguț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dumitru Cîrțu made a huge save. Codrin Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, CS Ameserv 2019's Aristide Gherguț made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Cîrțu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dumitru Cîrțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Racoviță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Gherguț got free with Dumitru Cîrțu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Claudiu Gârbovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Petre Oneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Ameserv 2019's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Oneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Aristide Gherguț took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Dumitru Cîrțu to make any attempt to save it. Mick Shilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Chirilă having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mick Shilton to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes EMF Academia got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Gârbovan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristide Gherguț in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Cîrțu saved EMF Academia from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Petre Oneț made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Cîrțu. EMF Academia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Dumitru Cîrțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Gherguț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Gheorghe during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes EMF Academia got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Gheorghe. After a defensive mix-up in EMF Academia's zone, Petre Oneț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumitru Cîrțu came out of the goal and Petre Oneț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to EMF Academia getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Claudiu Gârbovan hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, CS Ameserv 2019's goal looked a bit too open when Mick Shilton came free, but Cazimir Chirilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, CS Ameserv 2019's Aristide Gherguț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dumitru Cîrțu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Mick Shilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Chirilă having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Gherguț in the 92nd minute of play forced EMF Academia's goalkeeper Dumitru Cîrțu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes EMF Academia got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Gârbovan. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CS Ameserv 2019 had played much better football throughout.
