In the 8th minute Valentin Marian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Codru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Balcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes Love Moschino got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Marchidan. After 13 minutes, Mihnea Marchidan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Love Moschino and the Pietrisul CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute Mihnea Marchidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Codru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Codru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Marian in the 18th minute of the match. Petrică Aldea struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nistor Codru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Love Moschino. If Petrică Aldea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Pietrisul CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Marchidan came free, but Nistor Codru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, Iurie Ignea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horaţiu Popeangă having to interfere. Cristinel Balcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horaţiu Popeangă having to make a save. Albert Roşu charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Roşu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albert Roşu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Iurie Ignea came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pietrisul CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Ignea couldn't finish the play. Horaţiu Popeangă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristinel Balcan in the 35th minute. When Mihnea Marchidan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. In the 37th minute, Mihnea Marchidan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Pietrisul CSM's Cristinel Burileanu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Ignea in the 43rd minute of play forced Love Moschino's goalkeeper Horaţiu Popeangă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petrică Aldea to strike the kick off in the second half. If Iurie Ignea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Horaţiu Popeangă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Ignea, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Love Moschino's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Balcan came free, but Horaţiu Popeangă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pietrisul CSM had won after a very even match.
