With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iurie Avacariței in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Roman saved Girleasa CSM from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Iurie Avacariței made a precise shot to the right of Andrei Roman. Girleasa CSM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Andrei Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Avacariței in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iurie Avacariței in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Roman saved Girleasa CSM from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Oltul Slatina's Ilie Leahu got a free kick in the 19th minute. Andrei Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iurie Avacariței's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes Girleasa CSM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herbert Hök who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th match minute, FC Oltul Slatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Tilincă to maneuver through the defense. When Șerban Tilincă got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for FC Oltul Slatina. Girleasa CSM's Andrei Roman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Avacariței in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Encuțoiu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Girleasa CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Encuțoiu to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, FC Oltul Slatina's Iurie Avacariței sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Roman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Iurie Avacariței who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Girleasa CSM's Andrei Roman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iurie Căliman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Lovinescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Girleasa CSM's Andrei Roman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Ubarna in the 40th minute of play. Andrei Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Ubarna in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Oltul Slatina booed when Girleasa CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Ogășanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Oltul Slatina's Iurie Avacariței managed to work through Girleasa CSM's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Iurie Avacariței dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Ponor made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, 程烨瑜 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrei Roman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Căliman in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Manuel Lovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Oltul Slatina's Gaudencio Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iurie Avacariței who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Roman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, Girleasa CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Ponor to maneuver through the defense. After 57th play minutes Iurie Avacariței shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Andrei Roman and just under the crossbar into goal. If Iurie Avacariței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Lovinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Ponor in the 66th minute of play. Andrei Roman stood somewhat misplaced when Gaudencio Ubarna came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 70 minute. FC Oltul Slatina's Nichifor Bornescu was substituted for Gelu Coman. Andrei Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iurie Avacariței's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Iurie Avacariței sped through Girleasa CSM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Roman. FC Oltul Slatina made a substitution. Aurel Isaia replaced Gaudencio Ubarna. Girleasa CSM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Aurel Isaia scored to the left of an out of position Andrei Roman, making the score, 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurel Isaia in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Roman saved Girleasa CSM from getting behind. Andrei Roman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iurie Avacariței in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Girleasa CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Isaia came free, but Andrei Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Oltul Slatina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
