Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amos Cesaroni started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Florean hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Amos Cesaroni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Paul Simionescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batu Icardi in the 7th minute. CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save CLUB GALATI from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Mihnea Moțoc managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB GALATI's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihnea Moțoc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Munggaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Moțoc in the 18th minute of play forced Brazesti's goalkeeper Mathias Munggaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amos Cesaroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Moise Geantă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CLUB GALATI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazesti the free kick. After a rather tough play, CLUB GALATI's Moise Geantă got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Amos Cesaroni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CLUB GALATI getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marin Panescu hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, CLUB GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Cesaroni came free, but Paul Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Munggaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Moțoc in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Amos Cesaroni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 played minutes CLUB GALATI got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Alucusan. Joar Molin made a great header on Brazesti's corner, it was just that CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Gigi Alucusan got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Brazesti booed when CLUB GALATI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Alucusan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Simionescu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joar Molin. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brazesti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ole-Einar Skåre was slow to take the kick. During this time CLUB GALATI's players had a chance to rest. Paul Simionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Ghițulescu in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihnea Moțoc in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Munggaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihnea Moțoc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paul Simionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Cesaroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. CLUB GALATI's Mihnea Moțoc got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Simionescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Burca in the 72nd minute of the match. Brazesti's Mathias Munggaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Brazesti from getting a goal against them. When Amos Cesaroni came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Brazesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Cesaroni couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, CLUB GALATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Geantă to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes of play, Brazesti's Amos Cesaroni made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Simionescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Mihnea Moțoc managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB GALATI's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihnea Moțoc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Munggaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Simionescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batu Icardi went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Joar Molin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Nechifor Dordea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Munggaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihnea Moțoc's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Mihnea Moțoc sped through Brazesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathias Munggaran. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brazesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while CLUB GALATI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
