Paul Simionescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Iacobescu in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, CLUB GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Iacobescu came free, but Paul Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Iacobescu in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Slobozia FC got a corner. CLUB GALATI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artur Walec ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to CLUB GALATI getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Moise Geantă hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Cândroveanu in the 19th minute of play forced CLUB GALATI's goalkeeper Paul Simionescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes CLUB GALATI got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Florean. CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Cândroveanu in the 21st minute of play. The Slobozia FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Slobozia FC's Luca Iacobescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Slobozia FC's zone, Moise Geantă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jailson Loyola came out of the goal and Moise Geantă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 played minutes Slobozia FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. 31 minutes into the match, CLUB GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Cândroveanu came free, but Paul Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luca Iacobescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Simionescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Iacobescu's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Paul Simionescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by CLUB GALATI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After 43 minutes, Prosper Harnikov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLUB GALATI and the Slobozia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CLUB GALATI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Slobozia FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihnea Moțoc to make the kick off. When Sergiu Zgrăbunţa came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Slobozia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Zgrăbunţa couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, 邓骋辰 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slobozia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUB GALATI the free kick. A collision led to Slobozia FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. 邓骋辰 hit a great ball. After 60 minutes, Moise Geantă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLUB GALATI and the Slobozia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, CLUB GALATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Geantă to maneuver through the defense. Paul Simionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Cândroveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Nechifor Dordea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nechifor Dordea fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLUB GALATI's protests and gave Nechifor Dordea a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu got control of the ball when Gigel Cândroveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Cândroveanu got free with Paul Simionescu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, CLUB GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Cândroveanu came free, but Paul Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slobozia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
