The corner led Brazesti's Joar Molin to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Lovinescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute, Gelu Coman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iurie Avacariței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mathias Munggaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Gaudencio Ubarna made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brazesti's Mathias Munggaran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iurie Avacariței might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias Munggaran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Iurie Avacariței made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Ubarna in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias Munggaran saved Brazesti from getting behind. After 59 minutes of play, Brazesti's Amos Cesaroni made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lovinescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes FC Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Neil Cassar Overend. Amos Cesaroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Manuel Lovinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Lovinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Cesaroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
