Nistor Popilean struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Iosif Gabrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sir Alexandria. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacul's goalkeeper Iosif Gabrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well placed Nistor Popilean short distance shot in the 14th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After 18 minutes, Damian Brezeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacul and the Sir Alexandria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Brezeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Denis Lera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Nistor Popilean made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Gabrea. Jacul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Nistor Popilean took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Iosif Gabrea to make any attempt to save it. Pompiliu Pociu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Domenico Serafini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jacul's zone, Tzonyo Viyachki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Gabrea came out of the goal and Tzonyo Viyachki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pompiliu Pociu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Diculescu to make the kick off. Iosif Gabrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Pociu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pompiliu Pociu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Jacul defense, Tzonyo Viyachki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Gabrea. The Jacul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Gabrea should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacul's goalkeeper Iosif Gabrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nistor Popilean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denis Lera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bogdan Şimandan made a huge save. After 73 minutes, Nistor Popilean made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jacul's Iosif Gabrea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sir Alexandria's Rüknettin Toktahan was substituted for Călin Lemnaru. Pompiliu Pociu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Iosif Gabrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Brezeanu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Eric Alexa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iosif Gabrea skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th minute, Domenico Serafini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nistor Popilean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacul's Iosif Gabrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Popilean in the 85th minute of play. Denis Lera came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Şimandan could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Nistor Popilean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosif Gabrea was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sir Alexandria had played much better football throughout.
