Cristian Giuverdea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Daraban to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelian Chiper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Cristoiu having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, IULIA TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Dragota to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Viorel Daraban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the IULIA TEAM defense, Horaţiu Dijmărescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Elian. The IULIA TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Elian should have stopped the shot. Costin Popovici hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Aron Elian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Dijmărescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Elian. Olympic CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
