When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pompiliu Andrițoiu sped through -BZF- Armata Ultra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iordache Popean. Victor Ologu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Malcocea in the 11th minute of the match. -BZF- Armata Ultra's Iordache Popean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 12th minute of play. When Costică Malcocea fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Armata Ultra's protests and gave Costică Malcocea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Raureni Academy booed when -BZF- Armata Ultra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Malcocea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Pompiliu Andrițoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Popean was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Pompiliu Andrițoiu's late challenge caught a -BZF- Armata Ultra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pompiliu Andrițoiu helped the player get up and apologised. Pompiliu Andrițoiu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Raureni Academy booed when -BZF- Armata Ultra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Firoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucrețiu Domuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Iordache Popean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, -BZF- Armata Ultra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Bocșa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Popean saved -BZF- Armata Ultra from getting behind. Iordache Popean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Andrițoiu's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Pompiliu Andrițoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Armata Ultra's Iordache Popean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, -BZF- Armata Ultra's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Andrițoiu came free, but Iordache Popean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pompiliu Andrițoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Raureni Academy fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Raureni Academy's Pompiliu Andrițoiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iordache Popean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Malcocea in the 72nd minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Victor Ologu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Arnăuțoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lucrețiu Domuță put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Iordache Popean. The supporters of -BZF- Armata Ultra booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Manu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucrețiu Domuță might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iordache Popean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucrețiu Domuță ran back to his position shaking his head. -BZF- Armata Ultra's Gabriel Bocșa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliodor Arnăuțoiu, made in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the game, -BZF- Armata Ultra's Felix Tăzlăuanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Ologu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The Raureni Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Raureni Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
