Dumitru Achiriloaie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Vlad Covrig made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Alanzo Olmos came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. George Gurlui hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Remus Zbora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Botosani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Cristinel Sava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Covrig having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Alanzo Olmos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0.
