Pufesti FC's Johny Peers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Edgar Vernescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pufesti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raureni Academy the free kick. The audience was convinced that Manuel Ioneasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Ologu was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the game, Eliodor Arnăuțoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Ologu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andrei Cozaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johny Peers. Pufesti FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pufesti FC's Manuel Ioneasa managed to work through Raureni Academy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Manuel Ioneasa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 96 minutes into the game, Ionel Hurezan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Victor Ologu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pufesti FC fully deserved thier win.
