Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Pompiliu Andrițoiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matei Bulgar during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Santikurtz saved Fulgerul Braila from getting behind. Ştefan Măcrineanu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fulgerul Braila's zone, Alex Rizescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Santikurtz came out of the goal and Alex Rizescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fulgerul Braila's Ştefan Măcrineanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Ologu. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Victor Ologu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Măcrineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Pompiliu Andrițoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Santikurtz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Raureni Academy's Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fulgerul Braila's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Eusebiu Barbă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulgerul Braila's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebiu Barbă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ologu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Ologu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Andrițoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raureni Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fulgerul Braila the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Victor Ologu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Pompiliu Andrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Ologu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Olsson in the 36th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Silviu Murgescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Victor Ologu to make any attempt to save it. When Ion Gâgea fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulgerul Braila's protests and gave Ion Gâgea a yellow card for diving instead. Raureni Academy's Cristinel Tomozei couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fulgerul Braila. In the 46th match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Rizescu to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 52 minutes of play, Fulgerul Braila's Ivar Olsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ologu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivar Olsson took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Ologu. Victor Ologu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Rizescu got free with Benedicto Santikurtz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Senio in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Olsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Victor Ologu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Manciulea in the 66th minute of the match. Benedicto Santikurtz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Andrițoiu's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Raureni Academy got a corner. Fulgerul Braila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristinel Tomozei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Victor Ologu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgerul Braila's Benedicto Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Cristinel Tomozei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Cornel Manciulea made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Santikurtz. Fulgerul Braila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. If Ilie Enache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Ologu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Enache, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Ilie Enache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Ologu. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilie Enache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. There was no doubt that Fulgerul Braila were the better team. Fulgerul Braila's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
