Spectators: 7960 (Terracing: 5971, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavian Caragea started the match with the kick off. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Octavian Caragea. But to his dismay, Octavian Caragea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute BVB 09 were awarded a corner. Edgar Bornescu went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Petre Coporan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Papadima in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Gigel Răduța nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Maxim Sfetcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Corneliu Vulpăşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gigel Răduța hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Maxim Sfetcu made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Maxim Sfetcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Sfetcu in the 39th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Maxim Sfetcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 43rd minute, Octavian Caragea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BVB 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Calistrat Mihalcea got a free kick in the 46th minute. Octavian Caragea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Tudor Bodea made the kick off in the second half. Maxim Sfetcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out and tried to block the shot, but Maxim Sfetcu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 55th minute. When Maxim Sfetcu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the BVB 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Sfetcu couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Calistrat Mihalcea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the BVB 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calistrat Mihalcea hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Maxim Sfetcu rounded Unicorns ™'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Sfetcu in the 64th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Maxim Sfetcu notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maxim Sfetcu took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Gigel Răduța who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Corneliu Vulpăşin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Sfetcu came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavian Caragea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out and tried to block the shot, but Octavian Caragea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 78th minute. In the 85th minute, BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Corneliu Vulpăşin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Vernescu in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Iacob Vernescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iacob Vernescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. Iacob Vernescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iacob Vernescu in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Vulpăşin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BVB 09 played a much better game than Unicorns ™ and deserved their victory. The Unicorns ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
