Iustin Saşca charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustin Saşca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Albotesti's Iustin Saşca got a free kick in the 11th minute. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Romoşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Progresul Pitesti's Vasile Blănaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Curuțiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Karol Czempa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marian Curuțiu. Karol Czempa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vasile Blănaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marian Curuțiu made a huge save. Marian Curuțiu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chorache Tofiño showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Albotesti's goal looked a bit too open when Chorache Tofiño came free, but Marian Curuțiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Karol Czempa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marian Curuțiu. Karol Czempa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 38th minute Manole Romoşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albotesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Vasile Blănaru scored to the left of an out of position Marian Curuțiu, making the score, 5-0. Karol Czempa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marian Curuțiu having to make a save. Marian Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Czempa in the 46th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasile Blănaru to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Karol Czempa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, Albotesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Pintea to maneuver through the defense. Marian Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Blănaru in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Martin Tudor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Gurlui. 60 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's Chorache Tofiño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Curuțiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Leonard Moise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Curuțiu. Albotesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Moise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After a rather tough play, Albotesti's Augustin Rareș got a free kick in the 64th minute. A beautiful save bye Albotesti's goalie prevented a goal. Petruț Nicea's late challenge caught a Progresul Pitesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petruț Nicea helped the player get up and apologised. Petruț Nicea kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Albotesti's goal looked a bit too open when Chorache Tofiño came free, but Marian Curuțiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Vintilă Marinică got a free kick in the 75th minute. Vintilă Marinică hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Chorache Tofiño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Progresul Pitesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Dragoş Oloieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marian Curuțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albotesti's Marian Curuțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czempa in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Progresul Pitesti's Dragoş Oloieru made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Curuțiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Dragoş Oloieru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Progresul Pitesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Progresul Pitesti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
