After a rather tough play, YR☆ Village Superstars's Flavius Nebunu got a free kick in the 13th minute. UFC RAPID IASI's Ignacy Kluska suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. Hamit Aysan charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of UFC RAPID IASI booed when YR☆ Village Superstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamit Aysan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Turcescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Niculae Dedu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Ahlén was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to YR☆ Village Superstars getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Evert Ahlén hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Gabríel Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC RAPID IASI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabríel Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor Hüter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Turcescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, YR☆ Village Superstars's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Turcescu came free, but Tor Hüter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When George Greblă fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR☆ Village Superstars's protests and gave George Greblă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, YR☆ Village Superstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Greblă to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Iacob Turcescu made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, UFC RAPID IASI's Octav Isvoreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Hüter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gabríel Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tor Hüter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of YR☆ Village Superstars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UFC RAPID IASI:s goal. UFC RAPID IASI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ovidiu Petcu in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Gabríel Cristofor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Hüter was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Turcescu in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Hüter saved YR☆ Village Superstars from getting behind. The supporters of YR☆ Village Superstars booed when UFC RAPID IASI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Taşcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, UFC RAPID IASI's goalkeeper Frederick Kallquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliodor Hâjdău. After 85 played minutes UFC RAPID IASI got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Petcu. If Octav Isvoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Gabríel Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC RAPID IASI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabríel Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the YR☆ Village Superstars players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UFC RAPID IASI.
