Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valeriu Zdrenghea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Rachel UFC booed when Salas AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Jecu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Eric Leahu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salas AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fabiano Marrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Leahu in the 9th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Petrică Udrescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salas AS's Marian Hanganu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rachel UFC's Fabiano Marrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Leahu in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Petrică Udrescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Hanganu. Salas AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Udrescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Salas AS's Valeriu Zdrenghea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Marrone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petrică Udrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Valeriu Zdrenghea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fabiano Marrone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachel UFC's Fabiano Marrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Jecu in the 29th minute of play. Eric Leahu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrică Udrescu got free with Marian Hanganu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marian Hanganu was a little too slow when Petrică Udrescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Udrescu in the 44th minute of play forced Salas AS's goalkeeper Marian Hanganu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Pavel Vieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Petrică Udrescu made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Salas AS's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Gunnarsson came free, but Marian Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Boteanu's late challenge caught a Rachel UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. La Boteanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Salas AS got a freekick which was hit by La Boteanu. In the 57th minute Francisc Neicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salas AS's Victor Angheluș got a free kick in the 58th minute. Salas AS's Marian Hanganu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Udrescu in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Francisc Neicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rachel UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Neicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Petrică Udrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Hanganu was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Udrescu in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Hanganu saved Salas AS from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrică Udrescu in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Hanganu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Leahu in the 78th minute of play forced Rachel UFC's goalkeeper Fabiano Marrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rachel UFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Călin Balcan was slow to take the kick. During this time Salas AS's players had a chance to rest. In the 86th minute Petrică Udrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Marrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Angheluș, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Petrică Udrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Hanganu was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Marian Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Udrescu in the 91st minute of play. Salas AS's La Boteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rachel UFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Salas AS for much of the match.
