The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gelu Lera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wojciech Hajduk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Horea in the 51st minute of play. Pompiliu Barascu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Hajduk having to interfere. Octav Horea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Gavril Bleoancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Hajduk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Steaua Botosani - BTF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
