Spectators: 8027 (Terracing: 6060, Seating: 1805, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, FC UMBRE's Johnny Maftei got control of the ball when Eric Leahu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Jean Diniz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Salas AS's Marian Hanganu. Marian Hanganu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes FC UMBRE got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Odman. After a rather tough play, FC UMBRE's Jean Diniz got a free kick in the 30th minute. FC UMBRE's Johnny Maftei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by La Boteanu in the 33rd minute of play. Salas AS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Călin Balcan in the 35th minute. Marian Hanganu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Johnny Maftei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Angheluș, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Ove Odman to strike the kick off in the second half. When Toader Hăvârneanu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salas AS's protests and gave Toader Hăvârneanu a yellow card for diving instead. Marian Hanganu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Victor Angheluș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Maftei was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marian Hanganu was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Jean Diniz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jean Diniz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salas AS's goalkeeper Marian Hanganu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marian Hanganu made an important save on a dangerous shot by 信 龙天义 in the 67th minute. Salas AS's Ion Poenaru was substituted for Cosmin Manciu. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salas AS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 信 龙天义 was slow to take the kick. During this time FC UMBRE's players had a chance to rest. In the 72nd minute, Anton Stelaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Salas AS's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Diniz came free, but Marian Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, FC UMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when La Boteanu came free, but Johnny Maftei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Maftei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Leahu in the 87th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC UMBRE's Marian Hanganu threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stig-Ove Odman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Călin Balcan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Johnny Maftei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Jecu in the 95th minute of the match. Salas AS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
