An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Calistrat Enoiu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Calistrat Enoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Calistrat Enoiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lino Gabler. The goal made the score 1-3. Tor Hüter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Ciuvică's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Jimmy James's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Hüter was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
