The supporters of Thracian F.C booed when FC UMBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Stelaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes FC UMBRE got a freekick which was hit by Aron Golumbean. FC UMBRE's Johnny Maftei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Horea in the 11th minute of play. Esteban Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 信 龙天义 in the 12th minute of play. Johnny Maftei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Tache, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Esteban Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 信 龙天义 in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Jean Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Ralondo. Thracian F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Esteban Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Diniz in the 22nd minute of the match. Esteban Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Odman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnny Maftei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Horea in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Thracian F.C defense, 信 龙天义 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Ralondo. The Thracian F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Ralondo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Thracian F.C's Victor Tache got a free kick in the 34th minute. Esteban Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Odman in the 36th minute of play. Thracian F.C's Esteban Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 信 龙天义 in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, 信 龙天义 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Ralondo. Esteban Ralondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Horea was the one to do the kick off. Johnny Maftei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Tache, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Stig-Ove Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Diniz scored 0-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Ralondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thracian F.C's Francisc Popan was substituted for Gelu Lera. In the 71st minute of the match Marcel Zgrăbunţa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Maftei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Esteban Ralondo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thracian F.C's Pompiliu Barascu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Florin Josan in the 77 minute of the game. Johnny Maftei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Horea in the 82nd minute of play. If Octav Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Thracian F.C's Victor Tache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnny Maftei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Horea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Johnny Maftei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Odman in the 87th minute of play forced Thracian F.C's goalkeeper Esteban Ralondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Thracian F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Elisei to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes FC UMBRE got a freekick which was hit by Marin Maiorescu. In the 93rd minute of the match Marcel Zgrăbunţa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Maftei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 94 played minutes Thracian F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Elisei. The FC UMBRE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
