Spectators: 7961 (Terracing: 5972, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) The corner led Steaua Botosani - BTF's Narcis Vrabie to fire away a dangerous shot which Lino Gabler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Narcis Vrabie shot a long shot in the 5th minute and a light blocked Lino Gabler hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-0. In the 7th minute, Jeff Davila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Gabler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dodo Simatupang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Dodo Simatupang made a precise shot to the right of Lino Gabler. Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, Dodo Simatupang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lino Gabler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Geronimo Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Gabler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Gabler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dodo Simatupang, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Lino Gabler was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Dodo Simatupang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dodo Simatupang really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. If Jeff Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's zone, Jeff Davila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Gabler came out of the goal and Jeff Davila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Dodo Simatupang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lino Gabler, 6-0. When Dodo Simatupang came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Steaua Botosani - BTF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dodo Simatupang couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Lino Gabler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeff Davila. Lino Gabler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dodo Simatupang's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's Remus Ionaș got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vlad Zgîrţa made a kick off. If Jeff Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, one of Explosiv Cluj-Napoca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Explosiv Cluj-Napoca. Narcis Vrabie shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Dodo Simatupang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Gabler was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58thth minute of the game Jeff Davila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's Lino Gabler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Zé Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Gabler. Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. A collision led to Explosiv Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vlad Zgîrţa hit a great ball. The Steaua Botosani - BTF fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Steaua Botosani - BTF's Dodo Simatupang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teodor Ciuvică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Zgîrţa in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Steaua Botosani - BTF's Geronimo Jakobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Gabler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 78th minute, Jeff Davila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua Botosani - BTF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Dodo Simatupang struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Lino Gabler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Botosani - BTF. Jeff Davila scored 11-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Gabler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jeff Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Steaua Botosani - BTF a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Narcis Vrabie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's Lino Gabler. 12-0. Explosiv Cluj-Napoca's Lino Gabler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Hermes in the 100th minute of play. Steaua Botosani - BTF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
