An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Dudău in the 25th minute of play forced UMF IASI's goalkeeper Gabriel Beniuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, UMF IASI's Octavian Petcu threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Pantelimon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Octavian Petcu came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by UMF IASI's Fabian Pantelimon. But to his dismay, Fabian Pantelimon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Octavian Petcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franciszek Serwach went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Perperidis in the 34th minute of play forced UMF IASI's goalkeeper Gabriel Beniuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Petcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Pantelimon in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Dumitru Nica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Beniuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Beniuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Popan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gigio Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Octavian Petcu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UMF IASI's Franciszek Serwach shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 may have spent more time on the ball, but UMF IASI were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
