Davi de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Tomulescu in the 23rd minute of the match. Otsoa Manzardo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Aaron Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Otsoa Manzardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Davi de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Nordului's zone, Diederick Englebert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi de Salles came out of the goal and Diederick Englebert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sever Tomulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi de Salles was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Davi de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diederick Englebert in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Otsoa Manzardo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles. Davi de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Nordului's zone, Tautrimas Čepulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi de Salles came out of the goal and Tautrimas Čepulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Matei hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The long shot by Tautrimas Čepulis in the 72nd minute really tested Davi de Salles's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Steaua Nordului booed when Fc Universitatea Cluj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Buzescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Universitatea Cluj played a much better game than Steaua Nordului and deserved their victory. The Steaua Nordului players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
