When Academy 01's Codrin Coșmeanu in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua Nordului's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 minutes Steaua Nordului's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dacian Ciorbea who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Codrin Coșmeanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Coșmeanu in the 8th minute of play forced Steaua Nordului's goalkeeper Davi de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Lucian Șofran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandru Bușcu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Filip Râznicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Nordului. Florin Urseanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Davi de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Steaua Nordului's goalkeeper Davi de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Costescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Fărcașu got free with Davi de Salles in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Alexandru Bușcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Râznicu. Academy 01's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandru Bușcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Steaua Nordului's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Coșmeanu came free, but Davi de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles got control of the ball when Denis Costescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davi de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Urseanu in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Grigore Fărcașu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles. Davi de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Steaua Nordului from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Urseanu in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandru Bușcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Davi de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Urseanu in the 53rd minute of play. Davi de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Urseanu went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Davi de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Coșmeanu in the 61st minute of the match. Davi de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Fărcașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Academy 01's Codrin Dan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davi de Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Codrin Coșmeanu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles. Davi de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Râznicu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Steaua Nordului defense, Florin Urseanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi de Salles. The Steaua Nordului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi de Salles should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Aaron Llorian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua Nordului fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Grigore Fărcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Urseanu in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Steaua Nordului booed when Academy 01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Costescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aaron Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Coșmeanu in the 92nd minute of play forced Steaua Nordului's goalkeeper Davi de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Academy 01 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
