Gabriel Beniuc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Franciszek Serwach scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Eliu, making the score, 1-1. UMF IASI's Gabriel Beniuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邓昆烽 in the 13th minute of play. Fabian Pantelimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Claudio Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Beniuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nalo Bermejo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Beniuc saved UMF IASI from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓昆烽 in the 22nd minute of play forced UMF IASI's goalkeeper Gabriel Beniuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Franciszek Serwach came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the UMF IASI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franciszek Serwach couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nalo Bermejo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Beniuc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Beniuc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nalo Bermejo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Delmiro Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

After a rather tough play, FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s 邓昆烽 got a free kick in the 50th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 邓昆烽 in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Humberto Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 95th minute, Gianluigi p'Bitek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. UMF IASI's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
