In the 15th minute, Petru Lupșe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davi de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nichifor Simuţ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Llorian in the 18th minute. Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Nichifor Simuţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Bușcu in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Kusko. Petru Lupșe hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Alexandru Bușcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Llorian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 32nd playminute. A collision led to Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Basarab Tutuianu hit a great ball. Nichifor Simuţ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Bușcu in the 35th minute of play. Nichifor Simuţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Timaru in the 37th minute of the match. Davi de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Lupșe in the 40th minute of play. If Nae Timaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Nicolae Avacariței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes, Steaua Nordului's Eric Titulescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nichifor Simuţ came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Steaua Nordului reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandru Bușcu was the one to do the kick off. If Petru Lupșe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petru Lupșe might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davi de Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petru Lupșe ran back to his position shaking his head. Davi de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Lupșe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petru Lupșe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi de Salles having to interfere. Davi de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Lupșe in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, Steaua Nordului's Davi de Salles got control of the ball when Silvano Kusko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Nae Timaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nichifor Simuţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Bușcu in the 91st minute of the match. Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Nichifor Simuţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Timaru in the 93rd minute of play. When Nicolae Avacariței fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s protests and gave Nicolae Avacariței a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute of the match Florin Matei shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Simuţ showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Steaua Nordului were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
