Thanks to some nice moves Sever Tomulescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Octavian Petcu however easily saved by the left post. The FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's Iustin Dudău looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sever Tomulescu took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Petcu. Octavian Petcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Flavius Huțupan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavius Huțupan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Inculeț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavian Petcu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sever Tomulescu sent off a good shot on target. Diederick Englebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Ciprian Amitroaiei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Universitatea Cluj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 the free kick. Thodoris Perperidis shot a long shot in the 37th minute and a light blocked Ernest Inculeț hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-3. Octavian Petcu was a little too slow when Sever Tomulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-3. A collision led to Fc Universitatea Cluj getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diederick Englebert hit a great ball. Ernest Inculeț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Dudău's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Fc Universitatea Cluj's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thodoris Perperidis took the corner. The corner ended in Thodoris Perperidis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Universitatea Cluj's Ernest Inculeț did a great save. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Tomulescu came free, but Octavian Petcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otsoa Manzardo scored 3-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Petcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sever Tomulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's zone, Sever Tomulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Petcu came out of the goal and Sever Tomulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavius Huțupan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Inculeț having to interfere. Octavian Petcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Tomulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the match, Iustin Dudău tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernest Inculeț saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute, FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's Iustin Dudău ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernest Inculeț. Ernest Inculeț yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Maxim Popan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernest Inculeț having to make a save. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 made a substitution. Lukas Gabler replaced Flavius Huțupan. Ernest Inculeț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Dudău in the 89th minute. After 94 played minutes Fc Universitatea Cluj got a freekick which was hit by Sever Tomulescu. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
