FC Arges Dacia Pitesti made a substitution. Martin Mușătescu replaced Stelian Frățilă. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Staicu made a kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Gabriel-Omar Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Isidor Quintarnaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Raşit Özdilek managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Mihai Grozuță fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute FC Arges Dacia Pitesti were awarded a corner. Ionel Ştoia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ionel Ştoia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C Alex Bucuresti's Raşit Özdilek did a great save. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
