Sampdoria's Gică Nestor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vadim Tudor in the 7th minute of play. Fan PC Servicii's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Grigore Petrea in the 8th minute. The corner led Fan PC Servicii's Valer Iordan to fire away a dangerous shot which Gică Nestor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Quique Olivera might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gică Nestor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quique Olivera ran back to his position shaking his head. Valer Iordan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Fan PC Servicii's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Negulescu came free, but Dinu Medrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Sampdoria's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Tudor came free, but Gică Nestor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Medrea came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sampdoria's Panait Zdroană. But to his dismay, Panait Zdroană quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Fan PC Servicii's Dinu Medrea got control of the ball when Iurie Praporgescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Dinu Medrea managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Sampdoria's Iurie Praporgescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iurie Praporgescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dinu Medrea came out and tried to block the shot, but Iurie Praporgescu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. Dinu Medrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Negulescu in the 39th minute of play. Dinu Medrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Povară in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilie Povară in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Medrea saved Fan PC Servicii from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iurie Praporgescu got free with Dinu Medrea in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinu Medrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Praporgescu in the 47th minute of the match. Quique Olivera kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

51 minutes into the game, Sampdoria's Moise Mercea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinu Medrea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Nechifor Antonescu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Dinu Medrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Zdroană in the 62nd minute of play. Fan PC Servicii's Dinu Medrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Negulescu in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Mercea in the 65th minute of play forced Fan PC Servicii's goalkeeper Dinu Medrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sampdoria's goalkeeper Gică Nestor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vadim Tudor. Dinu Medrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Negulescu in the 70th minute of the match. If Vadim Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fan PC Servicii's Leontin Milcu was substituted for Daniel Florean. The supporters of Sampdoria booed when Fan PC Servicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Iordan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Negulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Negulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sampdoria getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Constantin Negulescu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sampdoria's Constantin Negulescu got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Vadim Tudor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gică Nestor. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Iurie Praporgescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Medrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sampdoria fully deserved thier win.
