The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Iwo Madej put in a rough tackle. After 64 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Madej. Avram Ispas struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dacian Iurea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC SPORT 2017. In the 78th minute Octav Griguță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Iurea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, FC SPORT 2017's Iustinian Frențiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dacian Iurea. Dacian Iurea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 85 minutes into the game, FC SPORT 2017's Iustinian Frențiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
