Vasile Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 22nd minute of play. Rapid Bucuresti's Vasile Lucian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Rapid Bucuresti from getting a goal against them. Rapid Bucuresti were furious when Emilian Apolzan was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ernest Petru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Vasile Lucian made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Rapid Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Vermeşan came free, but Vasile Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rapid Bucuresti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernest Petru was slow to take the kick. During this time ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ernest Petru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vasile Lucian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute Cezar Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rapid Bucuresti's Vasile Lucian got control of the ball when Lu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Vermeşan in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasile Lucian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasile Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ionel Danciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Brânzaș to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabríel Tamás came free, but Thomás Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Lu made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rapid Bucuresti getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edward Walicki hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Rapid Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Vermeşan came free, but Vasile Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Walicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Vasile Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Rapid Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Vermeşan came free, but Vasile Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
