Spectators: 8050 (Terracing: 6040, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Netto started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Iurie Săndoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ionică Bălanescu. Iurie Săndoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Giosu in the 9th minute of play forced Lupii Turbati's goalkeeper Ionică Bălanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Șerban Giosu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ionică Bălanescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Damian Caba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ionică Bălanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lupii Turbati's Petruț Arșanu got a free kick in the 15th minute. S.C. Zulmde's Iurie Săndoi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Giosu in the 17th minute of play forced Lupii Turbati's goalkeeper Ionică Bălanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Șerban Giosu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ionică Bălanescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Lupii Turbati's Ionică Bălanescu got control of the ball when Iurie Săndoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Șerban Giosu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the S.C. Zulmde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Șerban Giosu couldn't finish the play. The corner led Lupii Turbati's Dinu Angheluță to fire away a dangerous shot which Augustin Vâlceanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 38th minute, Francisco Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionică Bălanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Giosu in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Angheluță in the 43rd minute of play forced S.C. Zulmde's goalkeeper Augustin Vâlceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vintilă Ciomag hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Augustin Vâlceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Netto in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Șerban Giosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bălanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Augustin Vâlceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ábel Varsányi in the 51st minute. 57 minutes into the match, Lupii Turbati's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Giosu came free, but Ionică Bălanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Francisco Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Vâlceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lupii Turbati's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Angheluță in the 60th minute. Dinu Angheluță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Augustin Vâlceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.C. Zulmde made a substitution. Aurel Tobă replaced Șerban Giosu. Iurie Săndoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Bălanescu having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match, Francisco Netto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augustin Vâlceanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Augustin Vâlceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Netto in the 77th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Ábel Varsányi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Augustin Vâlceanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ionică Bălanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Săndoi in the 85th minute of play. Ionică Bălanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Caba in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Aurel Tobă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bălanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Iurie Săndoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Zulmde's supporters rose to their feet, but Iurie Săndoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Bălanescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.C. Zulmde were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lupii Turbati for a fine match.
