With an all-out effort, Club Infinity Bacau's Ionică Bălanescu threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ionuț Panțuru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Lupii Turbati's Francisco Netto in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Damian Honcioiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Honcioiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Augustin Rusu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ionică Bălanescu made a huge save. In the 25th match minute, Club Infinity Bacau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Panțuru to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Francisco Netto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Infinity Bacau's Damian Honcioiu. Damian Honcioiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Augustin Rusu could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Ionică Bălanescu however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Augustin Rusu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ionică Bălanescu. Ionuț Panțuru did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Ionică Bălanescu 34 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Augustin Rusu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Infinity Bacau's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Rusu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Bălanescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Honcioiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ábel Varsányi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Augustin Rusu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ionică Bălanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Lupii Turbati's goalkeeper Ionică Bălanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Rusu. 47 minutes into the match, Club Infinity Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Ábel Varsányi came free, but Damian Honcioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, Dan Pânzariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Francisco Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Honcioiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionică Bălanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Rusu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 77 played minutes Lupii Turbati got a freekick which was hit by Ábel Varsányi. 80 minutes into the game, Club Infinity Bacau's Augustin Rusu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionică Bălanescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Lupii Turbati's Ionică Bălanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Barna in the 88th minute of play. Club Infinity Bacau's Damian Honcioiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Netto in the 91st minute of play. Ionică Bălanescu came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Infinity Bacau's Augustin Rusu. But to his dismay, Augustin Rusu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Lupii Turbati's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
