In the 8th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Marcel Petculescu made a precise shot to the right of Tadeu Moraes. FC Alinborger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Leonard Fetanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeu Moraes. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 20th minute Aron Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mădălin Ignat fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Alinborger's protests and gave Mădălin Ignat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mădălin Ignat hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after FC Alinborger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernest Petru took the corner. The corner led ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ernest Petru to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeu Moraes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Bîlbă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC Alinborger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Boroș to maneuver through the defense. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Petru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, Remus Vermeşan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Tadeu Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alinborger the free kick. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Leonard Fetanu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Doru Teodoroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alinborger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Teodoroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Eugen Lupea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
