The referee ignored Arsenal Giulesti's protests and gave Eliodor Urdoi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Giulesti's Eliodor Urdoi got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal Giulesti's zone, Nechifor Baniu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal and Nechifor Baniu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal Giulesti's Lucrețiu Mihăescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorel Prezan. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Dorel Prezan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Macovei in the 24th minute of the match. Dorel Prezan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marius Macovei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, AS GLORIA BALTATI's goalkeeper Dorel Prezan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucrețiu Mihăescu. Lucrețiu Mihăescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dorel Prezan made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Arsenal Giulesti's Iurie Ilie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorel Prezan. Dorel Prezan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Marius Macovei had several of the AS GLORIA BALTATI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Dorel Prezan as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 44th match minute, Arsenal Giulesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Mihăescu to maneuver through the defense. Dorel Prezan was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Lucrețiu Mihăescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucrețiu Mihăescu really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lucrețiu Mihăescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Prezan having to interfere. Dorel Prezan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Mihăescu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Dorel Prezan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Macovei in the 68th minute of play. Arsenal Giulesti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Panait Grămescu in the 69th minute. Dorel Prezan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Ilie in the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, AS GLORIA BALTATI's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Macovei came free, but Dorel Prezan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Mihăescu in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorel Prezan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by AS GLORIA BALTATI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panait Grămescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal Giulesti's players had a chance to rest. Dorel Prezan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Mihăescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Aurel Țâpu charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurel Țâpu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arsenal Giulesti booed when AS GLORIA BALTATI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Țâpu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Arsenal Giulesti's Lucrețiu Mihăescu made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorel Prezan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Lucrețiu Mihăescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Prezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes AS GLORIA BALTATI got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Feroiu. Lucrețiu Mihăescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorel Prezan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Ilie, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
