Spectators: 7965 (Terracing: 5975, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ognyan Peshev started the match with the kick off. Åke Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ekelund in the 5th minute of play. Cristi Geamănu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rayko Pútnikov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costin Encioiu having to make a save. 13 minutes into the game, Codruț Curăreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCM GAGU GAGU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ALEX JR the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ognyan Peshev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ALEX JR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ognyan Peshev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Utter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, FCM GAGU GAGU's goal looked a bit too open when Ognyan Peshev came free, but Åke Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Mihail Zburliş got a very nice opportunity to score, but Costin Encioiu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Costin Encioiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihail Zburliş in the 26th minute. Hugo Nordin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Costin Encioiu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC ALEX JR's Cristi Geamănu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Costin Encioiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rayko Pútnikov in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ekelund in the 35th minute of play forced FCM GAGU GAGU's goalkeeper Åke Utter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Zburliş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åke Utter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ognyan Peshev in the 42nd minute of the match. Åke Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes of play, FC ALEX JR's Ognyan Peshev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Utter was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihail Zburliş made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC ALEX JR's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Zburliş came free, but Costin Encioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Ekelund kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, FCM GAGU GAGU's goal looked a bit too open when Ognyan Peshev came free, but Åke Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Hugo Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Encioiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ognyan Peshev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Åke Utter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Dorel Nicolae put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute, Dorel Nicolae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Celso Tozzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCM GAGU GAGU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Tozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes FCM GAGU GAGU got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Mihoc. When FCM GAGU GAGU's Mihail Zburliş in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ALEX JR's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th match minute, FC ALEX JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ognyan Peshev to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Codruț Curăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCM GAGU GAGU's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Curăreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costin Encioiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes FC ALEX JR got a freekick which was hit by David Ekelund. If Cristi Geamănu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC ALEX JR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
