With an all-out effort, Avantul Hirlau's Rareș Codrea threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from George Stoicu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Popan in the 17th minute of play forced Avantul Hirlau's goalkeeper Maxim Nae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daryus Team - BTF's Rareș Codrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Stoicu in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, George Stoicu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rareș Codrea. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Stoicu to strike the kick off in the second half. 余兴扬 in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Emanuel Popan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maxim Nae saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute, Mugurel Burdulea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rareș Codrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience was convinced that George Stoicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rareș Codrea was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Avantul Hirlau were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Daryus Team - BTF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gavril Şoltuz took the corner. Sercan Dilhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxim Nae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Maxim Nae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Johansson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Daryus Team - BTF's 余兴扬 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxim Nae. Maxim Nae yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Daryus Team - BTF's Johan Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daryus Team - BTF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
