Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Cornel Banu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caciulesti's goalkeeper Cornel Banu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Caciulesti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poli AEK's performance. The match ended with a win for Poli AEK.
