Spectators: 7853 (Terracing: 6003, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alin Gârbovan made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Gashka Nebuna's Petrică Tiberiu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Petrică Tiberiu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gashka Nebuna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Petrică Tiberiu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gashka Nebuna! Astor Gotzon went to the wrong direction when Nicolae Hăvârneanu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some careless play in the Gashka Nebuna defense, Nicodim Mihu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Gotzon. The Gashka Nebuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Gotzon should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Gashka Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Mihu came free, but Astor Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Nicodim Mihu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Hurmuzescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match FC Dunarea Galati got a corner. Gashka Nebuna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolae Hăvârneanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Torge Sieger got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 23 minutes into the match. Astor Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Muntian, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Astor Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Muntian in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to FC Dunarea Galati getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gigi Hurmuzescu hit a great ball. Astor Gotzon came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dunarea Galati's Manuel Muntian. But to his dismay, Manuel Muntian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Astor Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Mihu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half FC Dunarea Galati were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Muntian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Gashka Nebuna from getting a goal against them. Astor Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Hăvârneanu in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Gashka Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Mihu came free, but Astor Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Nicodim Mihu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Astor Gotzon, 0-5. Nicodim Mihu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 62nd playminute. Nicolae Hăvârneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Muntian in the 66th minute of play. Astor Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Hurmuzescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Avram Robescu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Hurmuzescu in the 73rd minute of play. FC Dunarea Galati were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Gashka Nebuna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolae Hăvârneanu took the corner. The corner ended in Nicolae Hăvârneanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon did a great save. In the 79thth minute of the game Manuel Muntian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Dunarea Galati booed when Gashka Nebuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Mereacre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, Gashka Nebuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Mereacre to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gashka Nebuna's goalkeeper Astor Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute FC Dunarea Galati were awarded a corner. Nicolae Hăvârneanu went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Nicodim Mihu drilling the ball in to score 0-7 behind Gashka Nebuna's goalkeeper. Gigi Hurmuzescu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ilie Bobailă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Liviu Sfetcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Ilie Bobailă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over FC Dunarea Galati could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gashka Nebuna throughout the match.
