The referee ignored Avantul Hirlau's protests and gave Dumitru Iulian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, one of Avantul Hirlau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Avantul Hirlau. The referee gave CF REALCipri a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mircea Balaci, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Avantul Hirlau's Maxim Nae. 0-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Florescu couldn't finish the play. Avantul Hirlau's Maxim Nae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Zeciu in the 28th minute of play. Maxim Nae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Florescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avantul Hirlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mircea Balaci was slow to take the kick. During this time CF REALCipri's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mircea Balaci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maxim Nae quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nistor Gurlui hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Sorin Pietreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when George Stoicu came free, but Aristide Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Nae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Florescu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Avantul Hirlau's goalkeeper Maxim Nae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Zeciu. In the 86th minute, Aurel Zeciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxim Nae was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Avantul Hirlau's Maxim Nae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Zeciu in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when George Stoicu came free, but Aristide Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Avantul Hirlau had been in control for most of the match, CF REALCipri still came away with the win.
