Astor Gotzon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 15thth minute of the game Radu Sălcudeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Sălcudeanu in the 17th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Sorin Pietreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avantul Hirlau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Gashka Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when George Stoicu came free, but Astor Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Pietreanu in the 47th minute of play. Radu Sălcudeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Astor Gotzon made a huge save. The supporters of Gashka Nebuna booed when Avantul Hirlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Gurlui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gheorghe Cândrea hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, Avantul Hirlau's Mugurel Burdulea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Astor Gotzon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avantul Hirlau reached it. The audience was convinced that George Stoicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Gotzon was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Avantul Hirlau's Sorin Pietreanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Astor Gotzon. Astor Gotzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. George Stoicus short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Astor Gotzon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Avantul Hirlau's Sorin Pietreanu got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 played minutes Sorin Pietreanu rounded Gashka Nebuna's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Astor Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Stoicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorin Pietreanu's late challenge caught a Gashka Nebuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Pietreanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Avantul Hirlau got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Pietreanu. Astor Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Burdulea in the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that George Stoicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Gotzon was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Astor Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Stoicu in the 89th minute of play. Mugurel Burdulea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Avantul Hirlau booed when Gashka Nebuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Bobailă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avantul Hirlau's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
