The Wolves Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodor Creangă should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Nicodim Mihu sped through Wolves Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodor Creangă. Pascal Riells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Levința received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Teodor Creangă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Creangă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Riells in the 93rd minute of play. FC Dunarea Galati's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolae Hăvârneanu in the 94th minute. FC Dunarea Galati's Nicolae Hăvârneanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teodor Creangă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Dunarea Galati's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
